The first WHO Report (n.67 of 2019) devoted to the use of arts in health improvement. The Report examines some 3000 studies (Region Europe) on the impact of artistic practices and cultural participation in promoting health, in preventing pathologies, in managing and treating them throughout the course of life. The Report provides indications to policy makers and recommends creating contexts that promote artistic engagement at the individual, local or national levels through policies that create contexts enabling scale improvements in practices.
