The National Centre for Arts and Health (NCAH)

The NCAH, located in TUH Hospital, aims to improve patient care, promote the benefits of the arts in building health, care pathways and disease management. It invests in professional development, research, impact evaluation and treatment protocols.

Located in the TUH, the Center runs a free arts program for all who attend the hospital. The NCAH is organizationally placed in the Nursing Directorate, which directs it. The arts programs are built according to the needs of the wards and patients. The center promotes professional development, practice building, research, evaluation, and offers consultation to area health and cultural organizations that promote wellness through cultural participation.
