Research Center for Arts and Wellbeing
The Research Centre for Arts and Wellbeing promotes interdisciplinary research to improve the lives of people and communities
Over the past decade, the centre has developed from an active research group at Edge Hill University that has engaged in interdisciplinary research activities in the form of research projects, publications, events and master classes, with a mission to actively generate, process and disseminate research evidence. The centre aspires to establish multi-level national and international partnerships that make use of good arts practices to improve the lives of people, their communities and the wider environment. The centre draws on expertise from all faculties and has three main research strands: (i) performance research, (ii) community/workplace projects and (iii) clinical research.
