Culture and Health

Get inspired! Culture: a driver for health and wellbeing in the EU

The work promoted by the European Commission presents good practices from a number of projects from different European funding programmes, namely: Creative Europe, Erasmus+, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. The examples show the power of culture and the arts to improve health and wellbeing. The selected projects are characterised by a crossover approach to challenges that are usually addressed vertically by different sectors. From art to psychology, from music to Alzheimer's care, from the role of design to the impact of architecture in psychiatry, the projects pave the way for synergies for people's wellbeing. Examples collected in this European Commission catalogue include:
- From Creative Europe: Art4Psy
- From Creative Europe: ClowNexus
- From Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe: MUTE
