Creative Ageing

The world of culture and creativity can play a key role in the active aging and social inclusion of the elderly population: from designing architectural solutions to increase the livability of neighborhoods, to participatory projects in museums, social design of objects that offer support to people with neurodegenerative syndromes, dance therapies for Parkinson's patients, or innovations in textiles for sustainable clothing manufacturing. The Embassy of the Netherlands in Italy fosters partnerships on the topic between cultural and creative enterprises of the two countries, promotes research and study visits.
