ACAH promotes physical and mental health and includes persons with disabilities and the elderly.
The Australian Centre for Arts and Health creates an overall vision, continent wide, of current art and health initiatives to promote social inclusion and wellbeing in persons and communities, supporting projects in Oceania and the region of Asia Pacific, stimulating policies through consultations processes. The organization has close international ties (in the UK with the National Alliance for Arts, Health and Wellbeing; in the USA with National Organisation for Arts Health and the National Center for Creative Aging).
